The closing matchdays of the international break saw 5 Atalantini embroiled with their respective national teams: both
Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Scamacca started in the Wembley match against England, culminating in a 3-1 defeat for the Azzurri. While Gianluca broke the deadlock on 15 minutes with his very first goal donning Italy’s shirt and was replaced on 63 minutes, Giorgio played the whole match. Although Berat Djimsiti featured on Albania’s squad list for the friendly against Bulgaria (eventually won 2-0 by the home side), “Djimmi” was an unused sub. Moving on to Italy’s Under 21 side, Matteo Ruggeri featured the Italian line-up and played the whole match in Italy’s 2-0 win over Norway. Lastly, Juan Musso didn’t feature Argentina’s squad list in the Albiceleste‘s 2-0 win over Peru.
