With the international break of November coming to its close between the evening of Tuesday 21/11 and the late night of Wednesday 22/11, here’s the recap on the Atalantini embroiled in international commitments on November 21: starting off with The Netherlands’ 0-6 walkover against Gibraltar; while Teun Koopmeiners played the whole game and scored the 3rd Oranje goal of the night on 38 minutes, Marten de Roon was an unused sub.
Moving on to the other match of the night, which saw Croatia arithmetically secure their place in Euro 2024 on the grounds of the 1-0 home win clinched over Armenia in Zagreb, Mario Pašalić came off the bench at halftime and played the whole second half of the game.
Lastly, despite being featured on the squad list, Juan Musso was an unused sub in Argentina’s 0-1 win over Brazil at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio.
Circling back to the 2024 Euro Qualifiers, Italy, Albania, The Netherlands and Croatia are the latest additions to the “invitation list” of the summer German kermis and will join De Ketelaere’s Belgium, “Early Bookers” of the event after already securing their place back in October.
