The Atalanta Academy will also play a part in the upcoming international break with many players featuring the Junior shortlists:

Alexandru Capac has been shortlisted by Romania Under-19s for the Marbella International Tournament, where the Junior Tricolorii will take on England on Wednesday 15 November, Mexico on Saturday 18 November and Japan on Tuesday 21 November.

For Iceland’s U19s, Birkir Jonsson will be off to France for the Euro Under-19 qualifying matches against Denmark (Wednesday 15/11), France (Saturday 18/11) and Estonia (Tuesday 21/11).

Likewise, Relja Obric has been selected in the Slovenia Under-19s for the qualifying fixtures to be held in Albania against Belgium (on Wednesday 15/11); Eire (Saturday 18/11) and hosting side Albania (Tuesday 21/11).

Andrea Bonanomi, Gabriel Ramaj, Federico Simonetto and Lorenzo Riccio, together with Atalanta’s Under 23 player Leonardo Mendicino, have been called up by Italy’s Under 18 for two away friendlies to take place in Romania on Thursday 16 November and on Sunday 19/11 respectively.

Andrei Racu will be away representing Romania Under-17s in the Euro Under-17 qualifying matches to be played on Andrei’s home turf against Norway (on Wednesday 15/11), France (on Saturday 18/11) and Estonia (on Tuesday 21/11).

Lastly, Samuele Inacio has been selected by Italy’s U16s for the twin friendly to be held at the OPC in Tirrenia against the Czech Republic on Tuesday, the 21st of November, and on Thursday, November 23.
