Koopmeiners and de Roon’s World Cup begins

Senegal v Olanda kicks off tomorrow at 17:00 CET

The maiden match, which witnessed the host country of Qatar taking on Ecuador and resulted in a 0-2, set the ball officially rolling for the World Cup 2022.

Teun Koopmeiners and Marten de Roon will be the first Atalantini to debut in the tournament: tomorrow, Monday, the 21st of November, at 17:00 CET as the Netherlands take on Senegal.

Then will be the turn of Joakim Mæhle’s Denmark, playing Tunisia in the match scheduled for Tuesday, the 22nd of November at 14:00 CET.

The last Atalantino in order of appearance in the World Cup will be Mario PAŠALIĆ, hitting the pitch as the runner-ups of the previous World Cup Croatia take on Morocco on Wednesday, the 23rd of November at 11:00 CET.
