In the match against Napoli that took place last Saturday at the Gewiss Stadium, Ademola Lookman equalled his best tally.

With the spot-kick he converted against Napoli in the 19th minute, the Nigerian forward equalled his record for goals in a single league campaign in Europe’s top five leagues. This was his sixth goal, the same tally as in the 2021-2022 season when he played for Leicester City in the Premier League.

In Serie A Lookman scored six goals after 13 matches, while he netted the same amount in the Premier League after 26 games.

This is Ademola’s first season with Atalanta. In addition to his goal against Napoli, he also scored against Sampdoria, Fiorentina, Udinese, Sassuolo and Empoli.
