New year, new fixtures! After the long break for the World Cup in Qatar, league and cup matches alike make their comeback as Atalanta’s tight schedule winds up with a January already poised to be a tour de force.

With Atalanta greeting the New Year away from home with the two outings against, respectively, Spezia (fixed for Wednesday, the 4th of January at 14:30 CET) and Bologna (on Monday, the 9th of January at 20:45 CET), the grand re-opening of the Gewiss Stadium is scheduled for the 15th of January on the occasion of the Sunday match against Salernitana (kick-off at 18:00 CET).

A re-match against Spezia awaits Atalanta on Wednesday the 19th of January, this time at the Gewiss Stadium, as the Black-and-blues are to take on the Aquilotti in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa (fixture to kick off at 15:00 CET). The high point of Atalanta’s commitments as of January 2023 is undoubtedly marked by the prestigious Big Match against Juventus to be played away at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday 22nd and with the ball set to roll at 20:45 CET. Meanwhile, the home match against Sampdoria – to be played on Saturday, the 28th of January at 20:45 CET – will be the last fixture before flicking a new page on Atalanta’s calendar.
