Pašalić’s World Cup about to begin

Last black-and-blue player to debut in the World Cup

The countdown for the debut of Mario Pašalić, the 4th Atalantino player called up for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar and last in order of appearance, is almost up: as SuperMario and his Croatia are on their marks and set to start off in the world championship tomorrow, Wednesday November 23, against Morocco.

Teun Koopmeiners and Marten de Roon have been the first Atalanta players to make their appearance in the World Cup, with a victory cheering their debut as The Netherlands imposed themselves 2-0 over Senegal, followed today by Joakim Mæhle who hit the pitch in the match opposing Denmark and Tunisia, culminated in a 0-0 tie (making it the first draw so far in the current World Cup).
