With all their heart and spirit, Atalanta Primavera overcame Cagliari 3-2 at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia to seize three crucial points on matchday 30 of the 2022-2023 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship. Thanks to Vavassori’s decisive goal in the 90th minute, the black-and-blues handed coach Bosi his maiden victory at the helm of the Primavera.

After a difficult start to the game, with the visitors taking an early lead through Vinciguerra, Atalanta’s reaction came off captain De Nipoti, who ran down the right and provided the perfect pass to Vlahović, who tapped in the equaliser on 26 minutes. In the second half, it was the same De Nipoti who turned things around and gave Atalanta the lead with a terrific left-footed shot from the edge of the box. However, Cagliari were not ready to give in and managed to level the score on 76 minutes through Vitale from a corner. Nonetheless, it was Vavassori who made it 3-2 in the 90th minute with an amazing solo effort, sealing three key points for the team.
