On matchday 11 of the 2022-2023 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Atalanta suffered a 4-0 defeat to Milan.
After a balanced start, the deadlock was broken in the 17th minute with an Aloisi header. Milan doubled their lead on 22 minutes through Lazetic. Atalanta threatened with Stabile on 28 minutes, but his shot skimmed the post. Pardel denied Zeroli with his foot on 34 minutes but Milan added another two minutes later through Lazetic. Before half-time, Atalanta had the chance to pull one back but Tavanti’s header from a corner was saved.
In the second half, there were a couple of attempts by Muhameti (a free kick smothered by the goalkeeper and a shot that was just wide), and then Alesi hit the post in the 63rd minute. In the 73rd minute, Fisic’s finish from Vorlicky’s free-kick was just wide. A minute passed and Milan threatened again with a curler by Stalmach that went just wide and eventually Lazetic made it 4-0 in the 78th minute.
