On matchday 31 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, coach Brambilla’s Atalanta win 3-2 against Spal at the stadium Mazza in Ferrara.
The Nerazzurri got off to a good start and Panada had a goalscoring chance in the opening minutes, as he fires inches over. Sidibe scored the opener on 7 minutes, as he took the right spot assisted by Giovane. Sidibe had another attempt in the 10th minute as he nodded over. Spal equalised on 15 minutes through Ellertsson, so it was all gone. Cisse tested the goalkeeper in the 25th minute but the hosts also tried to take the lead as Mihai blasted over from a good spot. Sidibe restored the Atalanta lead at the half-hour mark from Renault’s cross from the left. Before half-time, Sassi had to pull off a great save on Wilke’s close-range shot to avoid another equaliser from Spal.
Renault had the first chance of the second half with a right-foot shot that was just over, but Ellertsson put Spal level on 70 minutes. The Nerazzurri pushed hard trying to restore their lead and Sidibe almost bagged a hat-trick in the 72nd minute when his header was saved by Magri. In the final minutes, Pagani was also denied by Magri and then he clipped the crossbar with a header on 92′. And it was Cisse to seal the win for the Nerazzurri in the 94th minute, as he tapped in from close range.
