The Wednesday victory over Spezia at the Gewiss Stadium marked Giorgio Scalvini’s 50th appearance for Atalanta. At only 19 years of age, this is a remarkable milestone for the Italian defender born in 2003, who has worked his way up through the ranks of our Academy.

His senior debut dates back to the 24th of October 2021, when he featured in a Serie A draw against Udinese in Bergamo. Since then, the young defender has racked up 45 appearances in the league, 2 in the Europa League and 3 in the Coppa Italia, with also three goals to his credit.
