Season opener away to Torino

The Serie A TIM 2021/22 fixtures

The fixtures for the Serie A TIM 2021-2022 were presented today, Wednesday 14 July. The Nerazzurri’s campaign will kick off away to Torino. The fun fact is that last year’s season opener was also on the Granata pitch, due to the postponement of the matchday 1 fixture.

The first home game will be on matchday 2 against Bologna and that will be the first of two consecutive games at the Gewiss Stadium (Fiorentina to visit on matchday 3). The first round of the league before the Christmas break will end away to Genoa.

There is a change starting this year: the fixture list is asymmetrical, so the matches of the second half of the season do not correspond to the reverse matches, even if coincidentally the opponent is still Torino in the first match of the second round. The league will end on the 22nd of May with Atalanta-Empoli.
