The 40th Jubilee of the “Forza Atalanta” score by Marino Magrin

Feat. the "Enzo & Beppe" orchestra and the "Atalanta Club Valgandino" Chorus

Upon its recording in the spring of 1984, it finally made its debut at the Bergamo stadium on the 1st of April that very same year as the team’s walk-in song: the official “Forza Atalanta” anthem, originally performed by Marino Magrin -who donned the Nerazzurro shirt for six years from the 1981/82 campaign to the 1986/87 season- together with the “Enzo & Beppe” orchestra and the Chorus from the Atalanta Club of Valgandino, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

To commemorate such an important milestone, the anthem will be played tomorrow, Monday, April 15, at the Gewiss Stadium after the warm-up prior to the home match against Hellas Verona.

Back in 1984, while Marino Magrin, who will attend the game between Atalanta and Hellas Verona from the stands as Guest of Honour, composed the lyrics, the anthem was then set to music by the “maestro” Alessandro Poli together with Conti and Guerini. It was then the “Amici del Club Valgandino” Chorus who completed the work, by punctuating in unison the perfect rhymes and stanzas of the lyrics in the “Luciano Zanetti” recording booth.
