Although many of our players are die-hard fans and have already been here at the Gewiss Stadium countless times beforehand, doing it today, as members of Atalanta For Special, was nothing short of a riveting experience not solely for our lads, but for us accompanists as well”: through this short, albeit poignant, statement, Gianmario Lesmo conveyed all the emotions stemming from the lads of our Special team attending the Atalanta-Bologna match from the Tribuna Rinascimento stands.

“Upon the recognition from the fans, our lads had been cheered on and applauded both outside the Gewiss Stadium in the build-up of the match and inside such acknowledgement really got them thrilled to bits – Giamario Lesmo added. The Atalanta For Special will continue training at the Centro Sportivo Saletti in Nembro for the final stage of the season.

“As for the 5-a-side division, clinching a good result in the following commitments will be of the essence for a place in the top spots of the standing. As for the 7-a-side team, preparations for the next steps are well underway: we’ve started differentiating training procedures in different groups to ensure the optimal nurturing of our lads’ capabilities and potential. We have a very tight-knit group and mutual support is one (if not the foremost) core value permeating our day-to-day approach; also thanks to the invaluable intentness and self-giving always showed by our trainers”.
