After the match against Fiorentina, the Nerazzurri resumed training this morning at the Bortolotti Training Centre to start preparing for the opening match of the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League away to Villarreal. The team were divided into two groups based on workloads, while Hateboer and Muriel weren’t involved in training.

A morning session is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday 13 September, at the Bortolotti Training Centre (the first 15 minutes will be open to media) before leaving for Spain in the afternoon.
