As Atalanta came out victorious from the “Bergamasco Derby” played against AlbinoLeffe, Francesco Modesto cared to delve deeper int the team performance in the post-match interview: “Not only did the lads hold their ground with unwavering confidence, but, as they also showcased an impeccable display from a technical standpoint, the team created many chances. Granted, while our approach exposed us to a fair degree of risk, we still deserved a bit more, especially in the closing minutes”.

In his closing remarks, coach Modesto underscored the backing showed by the black-and-blue fans attending the derby: “To feel the cheering from our supporters has been a pleasant experience. I hope to see them soon in Caravaggio, especially given the undeniable Orobic identity of our U23s side, comprising  players born and bred within Bergamo and its hinterland for the most part”.
