Coach Francesco Modesto commented on the team’s away draw to Giana Erminio as follows: “While in the first half everything was set up for the team to take the lead, it seems that, at least for the time being, our players are showing some sort of “selfishness” that is making our game all the more sluggish and encouraging too many unnecessary touches. Then, as soon as we get close to the opponents’ box we seem unable to shatter the proverbial glass ceiling. From what I saw, in addition to stepping up our playing tempo, we also ought to show a much more cohesive spirit without overlooking a certain light-hearted approach to the game”.
