As tradition dictates, in the hours before the Anfield road match, Liverpool FC executives rendezvoused with their Atalanta homologues, the UEFA delegate and representatives at The Art Club, a major Merseyside restaurant, for the customary “Fair-Play meeting” between the two teams favoured by UEFA.

While the UEFA Delegate Peter Palencik chaperoned the get-together as spokesperson of the European highest football institution, the Liverpool hosting party comprised the likes of Managing Director Andy Hughes, Club Ambassador Ian Rush, SVP Digital Drew Crisp, Women Club Ambassador Natasha Dowie and SVP Finance Jenny Beacham.

On Atalanta’s behalf, the event was attended by Co-Chairman Stephen Pagliuca, CEO Luca Percassi, Board Member Luca Bassi and Stefano Percassi.
