Youth Academy: Alex Pinardi new Technical Manager of the Attività Agonistica

Unveiled the Academy coaches: from the Primavera to the U15s

Upon the meeting of the Primavera on the 18th of July and the first training sessions at the Centro Bortolotti, the black-and-blue Academy will reprise all set activities. As for the Attività Agonistica (Competitive Football), Atalanta are pleased to welcome Alex Pinardi as a new member of our staff.

The newly appointed Technical Manager of Attività Agonistica delle Squadre Giovanili (Competitive Football) makes a deserved homecoming after his fruitful three-year tenure at FeralpiSalò (where he held the same office), having Alex come through the black-and-blue Academy and played 120 matches with the First Team (scoring also 12 goals) in six seasons until 2004.

As for the technical staff, in accordance with what was previously foretold by Roberto Samaden, newly appointed Head of the Atalanta Youth Academy, during his first press conference, the Club has opted for the continuity of their current policy. Consequently, the Primavera will be coached by Giovanni Bosi, the Under 18 by Stefano Lorenzi and the Under 17 by Gianpaolo Bellini. Alessio Gambirasio will take the helm of the Under 16, having been promoted from his role of head coach of the U15s, with Roberto Previtali filling in for his colleague after his previous stint managing the U14s: this handover has been implemented for the sake of continuity, allowing both coaches to pick up the nurturing of footballers born in 2008 and 2009 where they left off at the end of the just-concluded season.
