The Nerazzurri Academy had an intense weekend as all youth teams competed in championship games.

The only team that played at home, at the Centro Bortolotti, was the Primavera who beat Bologna 3-0 thanks to a brace from Cisse and a goal from Chiwisa. The U17s claimed an away 4-2 win over Pordenone through a hat-trick from Vavassori and a goal from Fiogbe, while the U16s suffered a setback at Inter, having lost 4-3 with Cassa, Arrigoni and Carbè on the scoresheet. The U15s also earned a 2-1 win thanks to goals by Castiello and Sharma. The U18s are to play on Monday 11 April in a late away kick-off at 11 CEST against Roma.

As for the Women’s Academy, the U17s defeated Cremonese 2-0 away thanks to goals from Casanova and Bertola while the U15s claimed a goalless tie that allowed the Nerazzurri youngsters to top their group in the championship with two games to spare.
