It was a bad weekend for the two youth teams as both of them suffered a loss in the quarterfinals.
On Saturday, after the first leg’s 4-2 win, the women’s U17s (in the photo below the girls share a group hug before the match) were defeated 5-1 by Juventus, who managed to come from behind at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia. Corbetta scored the opener for the Nerazzurri and Gregis hit the crossbar when it was all level.
On Sunday, the men’s U17s were also unlucky as they suffered a 1-0 loss at Milan who tied the aggregate score but, due to a better position in the group table, qualified for the semifinal.
