Massimo Brambilla analysed the draw with Milan on Matchday 17 of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship: “Like, unfortunately, it’s been happening too many times this year, we regret a tie that could have been a victory. However, today I think we can’t really reproach the boys for it: in this period of time it’s not even going well but it’s up to us to make it go well”.

“The match – the Nerazzurri coach continues to analyse the game – went immediately uphill because of that goal from the corner. Then we kept calm and patient against a team that defended as a unit, with all the players behind the line of the ball and we created 3-4 really huge scoring opportunities. In the second half, the scenario was the same when we made it 1-1, then we tried to win but, unfortunately, we didn’t manage to. Despite the hot weather, we tried to maintain a high tempo and to win”.

The draw, because of the victory of the reverse fixture, is an advantage anyway in the head-to-head against Milan: “The championship is still long – Brambilla concludes – and there are still many matches to play. But the path we must take is to try to win and to impose our play, as we did in the last three matches that we, unfortunately, drew”.
