1st team to resume training in Zingonia

Back to training at the Centro Bortolotti

With the resting window to be up on Monday, November 28, the 1st team is to resume training with the first session to be held at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia in the afternoon- as all training and conditioning processes are set to last throughout the break for the World Cup in Qatar. After the two-week hiatus conceded by coach Gasperini, training will be conducted at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia behind closed doors.

Concurrently, the four Atalanta players currently called up for the World Cup (de Roon and Koopmeiners with the Netherlands, Mæhle with Denmark and Pašalić with Croatia) will not partake to the aforementioned training programme. Consequently, a 5-weeks-long working schedule awaits the black-and-blue until the resumption of the league at the beginning of January (on the 4th of January, Atalanta are to play the away match against Spezia.

With international friendly commitments being the common thread of the upcoming month of December for Atalanta, the first fixture is fixed for Friday the 9th December, kick-off time at 20:00 CET, as the Nerazzurri are take on Eintracht Frankfurt, currently 4th team in the standings of the Bundesliga, at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo in contention of the 25th  Trofeo Achille e Cesare Bortolotti.
