The Academy’s weekend opened up with the Primavera’s 2-1 comeback win over Empoli at the Carillo Pesenti Pigna in Alzano Lombardo thanks to goals by Guerini (who scored the temporary equaliser from the spot) and Manzoni (pictured in the cover). Moving on to the double-header held at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia against Monza, while the U16s claimed a 4-0 walkover (courtesy of Alessandro Rinaldi, Steffanoni, Damiano, from the spot and an own goal); the U15s’ fixture culminated in a 0-0 goalless draw.

While the U18s are to hit the pitch tomorrow to play Genoa in the late Monday fixture kicking off at 14:30 CET, the U17s league has skipped a turn this weekend.

Moving on to our Women’s sides, while the U17s drew 1-1 away to Cividatese courtesy of Crotti; the U15s defeated Barianese 4-0 on points at the Centro Bortolotti and with the black-and-blue scorers being: Marano and Saccomandi (with five goals each), Farina (hattrick), Mazzoleni (brace) and Krafia (with a single goal).
