This weekend saw Sunday as the focal point of the Academy’s commitments. Both the Primavera and the U18s came off worst from their respective away games of the day against Milan and Lazio: while the former suffered a 3-1 loss (with Vlahovic scoring the opener), the latter faced a 1-0 setback. The U17s’ home clash against Cittadella at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia culminated in a 1-1 draw (with Diouf being the black-and-blue scorer). Lastly, as for the twin road game against Como, while the U16s suffered a 3-1 loss (with Isoa featuring the scoreboard for Atalanta), the U15s clinched a narrow 1-0 win courtesy of Amalfitano.

Moving on to our Female sides, both sides came out on top from their respective fixtures: while the U17s defeated Calcinatese 9-0 (with braces from Vitale, Caroli and Riffaldi and single goals by Crotti, Osypchuk and Borlini), the U15s defeated Accademia Gera d’Adda 3-1 according to the new point-system established by the regulating federation (with the Atalanta lasses scoring 8 goals: namely, single goals by Chibani, Farina, Saccomandi, Giacomello and Marano in addition to Fumagalli’s hat-trick) in the league opener played in Zingonia.
