With the Academy’s weekend opening up with Vavassori giving the U19s’ an away win over Sassuolo on Saturday, the two home games hosted at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia on Sunday saw, respectively: the U17s’ 2-2 comeback draw against Como (courtesy of Perucchini and Valdivia, pictured in the cover) and the U18s defeating Sassuolo 3-1 thanks to Ragnoli-Galli, Previtali and an owngoal by the away side. As for the U16s and U15s’ road twin-bill against Monza, the two games were respectively postponed and suspended after 24 minutes as the fields were deemed unfit for play.
Moving on to the home games of our Female sides, while the U17s drew 1-1 to USO Zanica (Riffaldi on the scoresheet), the U15s defeated Tavagnacco 2-0 on MD2 if the Interregional Phase thanks to Farina’s brace.
