This weekend’s commitments witnessed our Academy sides altogether embroiled in full force on Sunday the 15th of January with mixed outcomes. In fact, as far as our male Academy is concerned, both our sides called up for this weekend’s fixtures suffered a setback: respectively, the Primavera came off worst from the home league match hosted at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia against Frosinone as the Ciociarian team imposed themselves 2-1 over the hosts (with Atalanta’s goal bearing De Nipoti’s signature); the U17 as well bore the brunt in the outing against Udinese, culminated in the 2-1 victory of the Friulian team (as Atalanta’s early lead courtesy of Ragnoli Galli, pictured in the cover, did not suffice).

Moving on to our Female sides, the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia set the scenery as both teams came out on top of this weekend’s commitment: namely, the 1-0 win of the Under 17 over Orobica (courtesy of Vitale) and the roaring 4-2 walkover of the Under 15 to the detriment of Lecco (as Boldrini, Caroli, Crotti and Manzoni featured the final scoreboard with one goal each).
