As part of the usual recap of the weekly commitments of the black-and-blue Academy sides, as for those embroiled in Verona on Sunday: whereas the Primavera bore the brunt from their outing against Hellas Verona suffering a 2-1 defeat (with Vavassori scoring the consolation goal) and, likewise, the Under 16 came off worst from their commitment suffering a 1-0 defeat against the Scaligeri, the Under 15 came out on top as they imposed themselves 4-1 courtesy of Mezzotero (with a brace) and single goals by Modonesi and Isoa.
As for the sole match hosted at the Centro Bortolotti this week, the Under 17 defeated Sudtirol 2-1: after Castiello opened the scoring for Atalanta (with the black-and-blue #9 pictured in celebration with his teammates), it fell on Captain Bonanomi’s shoulders to break the tie, bringing the 3 points home with a 90-minutes’ banger.
All ready and set for Monday’s late match witnessing the Under 18 taking on Hellas in the outing scheduled for 14:30 CEST.
