Atalanta 7-2 Villa Valle

Friendly game at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia

The friendly game against Villa Valle – a team competing in the Serie D – ended 7-2 at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia. This match was useful to put some fuel in the legs of those who did not play or were partially involved in the league game against Cremonese.

Pašalić opened the scoring with a brace (the first goal from a back-heel flick), then Scalvini trebled with a great header. The fourth goal came in the 20th minute directly from a free kick by Éderson. The 5-0 arrived in the 31st minute with a right-footed shot by Boga. The first half ended 6-0 with Højlund’s left-footer into the bottom corner.

The Danish striker bagged a brace in the second half with a right-foot finish. In the final minutes, Villa Valle pulled two back through Maritato and Seck.

The build-up to our league game against Roma will go ahead tomorrow, Wednesday 14 September, at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia and behind closed doors.
