Brambilla “We grew a lot into the 2nd half”

The Primavera coach's words

Another three heavy points for Massimo Brambilla’s Primavera, who won 2-1 over Bologna in the rescheduled game of matchday 6 of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship: “Today was the third game in six days on a pitch which was almost unusable and the team behaved well. We had a balanced first half in which we conceded something at the beginning and Bologna punished us. We missed chances, then in the second half we grew a lot and I think we deserved this victory because we created opportunities and pinned Bologna back, running a very few dangers”. This victory, the third in a row, arrived thanks to a goal of excellent workmanship, both for construction and finalisation: “It was a good move, with a nice cross from Renault and Sidibe attacked the ball, he curled it very well keeping it low: it was a very nice and important goal. The victories logically give the boys confidence and self-esteem. I am convinced that even in the matches in which we had lost with Cagliari or drew with Sassuolo, we had put in good performances in which maybe we weren’t able to finalise everything we had created. In these last three, we had really good matches, on heavy pitches, and we have to congratulate the boys because they fought like lions for every ball. I’m sorry for Ghislandi’s injury at the beginning, then in the second half I preferred not to change until the end because the team were doing well, they were growing into the game and it was clear that sooner or later they would have scored”.
