Massimo Brambilla analysed the defeat away to Genoa of matchday 13 of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship: “I think the performance was really good. It was a difficult match, against a physical team who closed down at the back and defended with eleven players behind the line of the ball. The first half was balanced, while in the second half we had a strong start and the game was taking the right direction. Then we conceded after we naively lost the ball at midfield and that complicated everything. The second goal arrived when the game was over. It’s a shame because we are getting less than what our performances say”. Atalanta have immediately the chance to bounce back after two consecutive setbacks, as they face Ascoli on Wednesday: “We only have to move on and work. If we look at the performances, we’re confident we can do well and play our part in this campaign. Clearly, the last two games have told us that, unfortunately, we missed a little too much upfront and in the end, it was difficult to bring home points. On Wednesday there is another match, equally important, but absolutely not to be underestimated. Being able to play immediately again after a few days, however, is an opportunity to demonstrate that we can do better”.
