A day to remember on Friday 25 November for Atalanta’s eSports division as they hogged the limelight of the “Milan Games Week and Cartoomics”.
As such, Atalanta’s presence at the most prominent event in Italy revolving around gaming and eSports testifies to the renewed commitment of the club towards gamification, a thriving and thrilling industry capable of attracting the enthusiasm of a multi-generational fanbase.
The co-branded booth provided to Atalanta Esports by Konami, the Official Video Game Partner of the Club, at the “Milan Games Week and Cartoomics” set the scenery for the unveiling of the new official kit and our new signing alike, the Italian pro player Umberto UMBEE96 Frusciano.
The official Atalanta Esports kit for the 2022-2023 season is designed to convey a contemporary take, with a tangible bond to the world of eSports and gaming, while maintaining at the same time a link with the heritage of the club (represented by the iconic black-and-blue stripes); hence, acting as a trait-d-union between the historical staples and the future vision of the club’s identity.
For the second season in a row, LeoVegas.news will don the status of main Jersey sponsor, on the grounds of their role as the main sponsor of Atalanta Esports and Digital Content Partner of Atalanta.
The figure of Umberto Frusciano, runner-up of various PES League tournaments, encompasses the distinctive traits of a fulgid national talent while also boasting a wealth of experience on the international stage.
From a professional standpoint, his gaming CV comprises, among other achievements, a placement in the TOP 6 European ranking in the 3v3 format of the PES League, together with his appearance in the eFootball Open Regional Finals in 2020 where he was crowned TOP 1 in Europe for the Celtic division. This result consequently allowed him to qualify for the World finals (worth noting how there are only 3 wildcards available for Europe ). In 2021 he made his debut in eFootball.Pro as a pro player for Celtic Glasgow, finishing the season with 5 goals and 7 assists in 18 appearances.
