He hit the landmark of 250 appearances for Atalanta on Monday the 9th of January at the Dall’Ara in Bologna and before the match against Salernitana, at the Gewiss Stadium, Rafael Toloi received the shirt celebrating this significant achievement, welcomed by the Atalanta fans with thunderous and well-deserved applause.

After the warm-up, before returning to the dressing room and preparing to hit the pitch and face Salernitana, the captain was presented with a commemorative shirt by President Antonio Percassi and Co-Chairman Stephen Pagliuca.

Rafael then showed the shirt to the home crowd, who thanked him with a warm round of applause for his 250 games (that’s 251 including the Salernitana match) defending Atalanta’s colours.
