Football Camp 2023: the recap of week 1

From Zingonia to Milano, teaching football in 10 locations

The 2023 Atalanta Football Camp is already underway with the first week drawing in 550 attendees between  boys and girls peppered throughout the 10 different locations chosen as hosting sites.

Apart from the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia, where the offer comprised both the “more traditional” format (graced by the presence of 12 attendees native of India) and the female-oriented one, as the most prominent setting for the official kick-off, activities have also been hosted in 9 other locations: namely, in Antegnate, Brusaporto, Casazza, Grumello del Monte, Zogno and Villa d’Adda(within the province of Bergamo) and in the appointed out-of-province options of Bussero, Cornate d’Adda, and Milano (at the Scarioni Football Club’s venue).

As for Week 2, activities will take place in seven locations: in addition to the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia, where both the regular setup and the goalkeeper-oriented format will be offered, Alpago, Cassina de Pecchi, Cologno al Serio, Gallarate, Lazzate and Siziano are the other appointed hotspots.

As enrollment is still open for the camps to be hosted from 26/6 onwards, registrations can be carried out on the official webpage ATALANTACAMP.IT, where updates about available periods and locations will be posted regularly.

Atalanta Football Camp is a the project  created to provide all children, aged between 6 and 14, the chance to develop and hone their footballing skills under the guidance of trainers and educators directly from the black-and-blue Academy. As its format revolves around experiencing a first-hand account of how much fun learning football through a proper training schedule actually entails, but foremost without withholding the most playful components, these aspects encompass formative, educational and recreational experiences all at once.
