Gian Piero Gasperini spoke in his press conference on the eve of Cagliari-Atalanta, matchday 22 fixture of the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM season: “We’ll now have to be good at doing well in the league starting with Cagliari, as it will be a difficult match. There is a lot of satisfaction in reaching the final. We were focused on reaching it and it wasn’t easy, as we had to beat some important teams. The final will be played in May and, therefore, we know we have a strong goal awaiting us. When you play so many matches in so little time, there is an objective difficulty in maintaining the same performance, but we have never underestimated the other commitments. We shouldn’t forget there are the opponents as well. Now we can focus on the league”.
