Gian Piero Gasperini spoke at his press conference ahead of Juventus-Atalanta, 2020-2021 Serie A TIM matchday 12 fixture: “Juventus changed their coach, added new players, they are a very strong team who have grown since the start of the season. For us it will be important to be able to have a positive attitude and play our game. They have strong forwards, who are an added value to an already strong team. We will need a great performance defensively, but also offensively”.

The previous match, which took place in July, ended 2-2, as Juventus performed a late comeback to draw the match: “Compared to last season’s match in Turin, it comes at a different time: we’re only on matchday 12, it’s still very early, while last year it was played at the end of the league”.

A comment on the Champions League draw was also due. “The first thought when I saw who we were facing? What a pity not to play at the Bernabeu! But even just playing against Real Madrid is a source of great prestige for us. And certainly another regret is not being able to play these games in front of the fans”.
