On match day 12 of the 2020-2021 Serie A TIM season it ends 1-1 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin against the Italian champions Juventus at the end of an eventful match.

The Nerazzurri had a good start and Pessina immediately fired a shot after four minutes. Ronaldo fired over a minute later. On 12 Morata’s back-heel flick was off target after a great block by Djimsiti on Ronaldo, while De Ligt charged down a Zapata finish five minutes later. Chiesa broke the deadlock on 29 with a right-foot curler into the near top corner. A miracle save from Szczesny denied Zapata after a Pessina through ball. Malinovskyi shot just wide on 38 and his free kick from the edge of the box stung the Juventus goalkeeper gloves.

In the second half, Gollini pulled off a great save with his face to deny Morata and Freuler scored the equaliser with a great right-foot curler on 57. Juventus had the chance to get back into the lead on 60 as they were given a penalty after a foul from Hateboer on Chiesa, but Gollini amazingly saved Ronaldo’s penalty. One minute later, Gollini with another sensational save and cat-like reflexes denied Morata. Gosens responded to this with an acrobatic volley which skimmed the post. On 73 Romero’s header was palmed away by Szczesny and then Bonucci denied Hateboer. Gollini parried Danilo’s angled drive on 79, while Gomez’s snapshot on 83 was beaten away by the Juventus goalkeeper. It was an intense final minutes, with both teams looking for the win, but the 1-1  score held up until the end.
