Teun Koopmeiners ended his season on the highest note, with a hat-trick and reaching double figures for goals. Last Sunday, in the final round of the 20222-2023 Serie A against Monza, the Dutch midfielder scored his second hat-trick of the domestic campaign after the one he netted against Torino in early September, thus bringing his tally to 10 goals.

If you count Josip Iličić as a forward, the Dutchman is the first midfielder in the three points for a win era to score two hat-tricks in the course of a single Serie A season. And Koop did it in style, netting the so-called perfect hat-trick, i.e. scoring a header (first goal), right-footed (second goal, after heading past the goalkeeper) and left-footed (third goal, a splendid lob from midfield).

A pretty one-of-a-kind and stunning way to end a season that saw Teun Koopmeiners play a key role with 10 goals and 4 assists in 33 appearances.
