Bringing their outstanding run in the 2023 AFCON knockout stage to a bittersweet end, Ademola Lookman’s Nigeria claim runner-ups honours after suffering a 1-2 comeback defeat from tournament hosts Ivory Coast in the Final.

A starter, Lookman played the opening 79 minutes of the tournament decider.
