It’s the 68th minute of Atalanta-Young Boys, a full-throated roar: Matteo Pessina has just scored the winner for the Nerazzurri, his first goal in the Champions League. In fact, this goal has brought Atalanta their first historic victory in the UCL at the Gewiss Stadium. What an incredible joy that was shared by all the Atalanta fans, those on the bleachers and those who were at home in front of the TV and those who were listening to the game on the radio.

Matteo Pessina is the first Italian player who has scored for Atalanta in the Champions League. Moreover, Pessina has got his fifth goal in the Nerazzurri shirt. He’s scored in three different competitions: Serie A, the Coppa Italia and now the UCL.
