Luis Muriel hit an important personal milestone on Sunday, scoring his 50th goal in Serie A in the Atalanta shirt in the match against Udinese. This series started on 25 August 2019 with a brace in the 3-2 win over Spal. In the previous league campaigns in the black-and-blue shirt, he scored 18 goals in the 2019-20 season, 22 in the 2020-21 season and nine last season.

The Colombian striker also came close to another important landmark, thus 100 goals in Serie A counting his spells with other clubs, as he is on 99 goals.
