On matchday 20 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Sampdoria win 2-0 at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia.

After a few chances for both Sampdoria, with Leonardi and Di Stefano denied by Dajcar, and Atalanta, with Pagani’s header testing Saio in the first half, the deadlock was broken in the 60th minute, with Leonardi nodding in from a corner. The Nerazzurri almost brought things level through Sidibe, but Saio managed to parry the shot. Sampdoria then doubled their lead on the counter through Di Stefano in the 91st minute and that killed off the match. A new fixture against the Blucerchiati is now scheduled for Wednesday 23 February, this time for the Primavera TIMVISION Cup quarterfinal
