On matchday 10 of the 2022-2023 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Atalanta saw the visitors come back from behind to win 2-1 at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia.
Omar’s attempt in the opening minutes of the game was charged down by a defender, while the visitors’ threatening long-range efforts in the final minutes of the first half were well saved by Bertini.
Atalanta took the lead in the earliest minutes of the second half through Stabile (in the cover photo), who came at full stretch to meet Palestra’s assist in the 48th minute. However, the hosts’ lead only lasted five minutes, as Cisse tapped in the equaliser on 53 minutes. Bertini then turned Bragantini’s free-kick over in the 59th minute and within three minutes Vavassori forced a save off the visiting goalkeeper with a finish from the edge of the box. Signorini put Hellas Verona in front in the 64th minute, yet the Nerazzurri had the opportunity to get it back on level terms on 64 minutes when De Nipoti was brought down by El Wafi inside the box and a penalty was awarded to Atalanta. However, De Nipoti’s spot-kick was parried by Boseggia. The visiting goalkeeper was key in the 75th minute as well, turning Guerini’s header onto the post with a great diving save. Bragantini missed the target in the 83rd minute and the same fate befell De Nipoti’s right-foot shot. The Nerazzurri tried hard to draw Atalanta level but had no luck.
