On matchday 32 of the 2021-2022 Primavera 1 TIMVISION “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, Atalanta draw 2-2 with Hellas Verona at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia.
It was a tough start for the Nerazzurri, as the visitors took the lead in the 13th minute through Flakus. Cisse scored the equaliser on 37 minutes, who nodded into the top corner from Bernasconi’s cross from the left. However, Caia restored the lead for Hellas in the third minute of stoppages with a goal from distance.
The Nerazzurri did not waste any time and as the play resumed, Cisse got the ball on the edge of the box with his back to the goal, turned and beat the goalkeeper with a clear-cut finish into the bottom corner. The Nerazzurri youngsters increased their pressure looking for a winner. Kivila had to make saves to deny Cisse and Zuccon in the 67th and 68th minutes. Bernasconi almost made it 3-2 in the 83rd minute with a diving header that was inches over and the Nerazzurri also had penalty appeals for a Ghilardi handball. Bernasconi had another attempt on 86 minutes but his finish was parried by the goalkeeper. At the Centro Bortolotti, it ended 2-2. Now we’re looking forward to the Primavera TIMVISION Cup final against Fiorentina next Wednesday at the stadium Penzo in Venice.
