On matchday 16 of the 2022-2023 Primavera 1 TIM league “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, Lecce come out on top winning 4-2 at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia.

The visitors threatened in the 13th minute with a header from Pascalau that thumped the crossbar and took the lead through Burnete on 40 minutes when he converted a penalty. In the second half, coach Fioretto threw Roaldsøy (on the cover) on who scored the equaliser in the 50th minute, with a volley on Chiwisa’s assist. The equaliser, however, only lasted four minutes as Berisha’s shot restored the visitors’ lead in the 54th minute. In the 77th minute, Lecce extended their lead through Burnete’s tap-in. Only a minute passed and Vavassori pulled one back for the Nerazzurri with a great diving header from Palestra’s cross from the right. Lecce, however, added another goal in the 80th minute through Burnete, who bagged a hat-trick. In the 86th minute, the Nerazzurri came close to scoring with De Nipoti’s close-range attempt (Borbei punched it away), but that was the last chance of the match, meaning that Lecce came out on top with a 2-4 scoreline.
