The Atalanta Primavera suffered the first setback of the pre-season as they were defeated 3-0 by Lecco, a Serie C side, at the stadium Rigamonti-Ceppi.

The hosts took the lead in the first half through Zambataro on 22 minutes and then scored the other two goals in the second half to seal the 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, a new pre-season fixture has been added to the Atalanta Under-19 team agenda, as coach Fioretto’s are set to have a joint training session with Pro Sesto, another Serie C side, on Saturday morning, the 13th of August. The session will take place at the stadium Breda in Sesto San Giovanni behind closed doors.
