In the rearranged fixture of matchday 6 of the 2020-2021 Primavera 1 TIM “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” championship, coach Brambilla’s Atalanta get their third win in a row at the Centro Biavati 1 in Bologna thanks to goals from Kobacki and Sidibe (in the stock photo). Three very important points, as Atalanta U19s won them by performing a comeback on a heavy pitch after last night snowfall.
The hosts had a good start as Vergani hit the post on 13 and then Rocchi scored the opener on 21. The Nerazzurri had already had to do without their captain Ghislandi after he picked up an injury: Renault replaced him. Atalanta immediately reacted to the hosts’ lead with Kobacki, who scored the equaliser on 26. In the second half, the Nerazzurri were even more determined in turning the game around. After different attempts from Italeng, Gyabuaa and Kobacki, Sidibe, assisted by Renault, scored made it 2-1 for Atalanta with a volley. Kobacki had another attempt on 75, but his angled drive was deflected by Molla. It ended 2-1 at the Biavati, as the Nerazzurri produced a strong display who showed great character and determination on a heavy pitch. Atalanta, therefore, climbed up to 14 points in the table, joint with Bologna. Atalanta U19s will be back to the pitch on Wednesday away to Fiorentina.
