Once the first international break of the season – which sees 17 Atalanta players on duty between senior and youth national teams – is over, the Nerazzurri will take part in six matches within three weeks between Serie A and UEFA Champions League: let’s find out September’s fixtures.
After drawing 0-0 against Bologna on 28 August, Atalanta will play at home even in the first match of September: Fiorentina to visit the Gewiss Stadium on Saturday 11, kick-off time 20.45 CEST.
After the clash against the Viola, here is the first European fixture of the season: the team will travel to Villarreal to face the Submarino amarillo on Matchday 1 of the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League.
The appointment is set for Tuesday 14 at 21.00 CEST.
In the two weeks between matchday 1 and the second game of Group F, Atalanta will have three Serie A fixtures. First, the match away to Salernitana (Saturday 18 at 20.45 CEST), then the midweek round at the Gewiss Stadium against Sassuolo (Tuesday 21 at 20.45 CEST) and finally, hosted by Inter at the Meazza (Saturday 25 at 18 CEST).
To round off September, the Nerazzurri fans will be able to go to the Gewiss Stadium for the first UCL home match: on Wednesday 29 Atalanta will host the Swiss side Young Boys on Group F Matchday 2, kick-off time at 18.45 CEST.
