The three points go to Torino

Nerazzurri defeated by 3-0 at the Olimpico-Grande Torino

Matchday 14 of the 2023-2024 Serie A TIM saw Atalanta come off worse from the Olimpico-Grande Torino stadium in Turin as the home side ran out 3-0 winners.

After a few Vojvoda and Vlasic attempts, the deadlock was broken in the 22nd minute by Zapata, who gathered from Vlasic to beat Musso. The Nerazzurri’s reaction saw an Éderson shot smothered by Milinkovic-Savic and De Ketelaere, sent clear by Lookman, hit a 29th-minute strike that was parried by the Torino goalkeeper.

Torino doubled their lead through Sanabria, who converted a penalty awarded via VAR on 56 minutes. In the 80th minute, Pašalić, sent through on goal by Koopmeiners, forced a save out of Milinkovic-Savic. The Torino goalkeeper also denied Miranchuk’s angled drive on 90 minutes before Muriel’s finish from distance was inches off target. In the 95th minute, Zapata added another goal for Torino and sealed the 3-0 victory for the home side.
