The new season has officially begun also for Atalanta Under-15s, as they met this morning at the Bortolotti Training Centre to carry out the tests for Covid-19 provided for by the health protocol.

Alessio Gambirasio has been confirmed as the coach of this team, who will train the players born in 2007: “My wish above all is to be able to have a season as normal as possible, which is what these guys have been missing for a year and a half now. I will train a group that is new to me although I saw them train in U14s: this squad certainly have some important qualities. We are really excited and cannot wait to start again”. This year the championship will be structured in four groups of ten teams: “A tough group awaits us because we will also face Inter and Milan. It’s a new championship for them, as they come directly from a league in which they played 9 vs 9 and will find themselves playing a national championship with 11 players. They will need to adapt first, but it will be like this for everyone. Hopefully, we can be ready on 27 September for the first match, but we have a lot of time to prepare”.
